President Eisenhower, whose goal is to make the United States a leader in the quest for world peace, calls for a summit conference among the Big Four nations: the U.S., Britain, France, and the Soviet Union. Two months later, a summit is held in Geneva in an atmosphere of cooperation and accommodation.
