Dear Lynne,
A GI came into my office and was expounding on his difficulties: "I’m with the Lurps at Bein Hoa, extended for my did early out, and been humping the boonies titi since I got back from leave in the World. Been humping an M60 with the grunts, blowing claymores at the gooks, and can’t sleep because of the incoming. I just can’t hack it. NCO’s are all messing over me: they say I’m stoned with the soul brothers beaucoup times. Every time I didi for a short-time girl, I get harassment, but same-same if I don’t. My NCO gives me an Article 15 and a bust for titi reasons and says he’ll see me in LBJ. Now the dude wants to 212 me.” …
Love, David
