Dear Mom,
Today our Commo Chief asked me to write to this kid in a hospital in Boston. A story in the Americal News sheet said he was dying, and wanted to receive as much mail from around the world as possible. It took me an hour to write a postcard. What do you write to a 14-year-old boy who hasn’t got long to live?
Love, Ray
